5 Ridiculous Donald Trump Statements Thus Far

The race for presidential candidacy is well under way for over a dozen Republican candidates. Unsurprisingly, the one that has been making the most noise thus far has been Donald Trump who continues to make ridiculous statement during his campaign. Here are some of the highlights thus far that provide insight into what he has in store for the American people if he were to become President.

1. Migrants

The most recent controversial statement came on Monday during his campaign in South Carolina. He suggested that the US should have a “complete shutdown” on Muslims entering the country.

2. Internet

Mr. Trump believes that children are “watching the internet and want to be masterminds”. This is radicalising people so he is going to “see Bill Gates” and talk about “closing it up”.

3. Women

He has made more than one offensive remark regarding women although he claims that he “cherishes” women. Megyn Kelly from Fox News called him out on previous statements where he has called women “fat pigs”, “dogs”, “slobs” and “disgusting animals”. He responded by saying, “I don’t have time for political correctness.” He later referred to Ms. Kelly as a “bimbo”.

4. ISIS

ISIS has been a major topic with many curious about how the candidates will handle this issue. Trump comforted the people by saying, “All I can tell you is it is a foolproof way of winning...the war with ISIS”, but unfortunately he can’t share it. Surely everyone can sleep a little better at night knowing that.

5. Immigration

And one of the major problems the US has been immigration. Trump has come up with the solution of building a great wall “...and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me —and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

Having said all of this, the American can be comforted because everything Trump has done virtually has “been a tremendous success.” Good to know.
