What's a Blood Moon?

A Blood Moon is a name given to a total lunar eclipse. The name comes from the reddish colour created when the Moon is fully eclipsed.

There is now a movement that tend to call the four full moons of a lunar tetrad Blood Moons. These tetrads coincide with the feasts of Passover and Tabernacles, and they’re spaced four months apart. They’re visible across a lot of the US so the American media pay special attention to them.
